Both On-ground and Virtual events are open to participants across India and from all walks of life. The registration for the Virtual event will also be opened later for global participation.
All participants over 12 years can participate in the 5km and 10km Run while the minimum age limit for Half Marathon is 18 years.
Swarnim Maitri Half Marathon is a Hybrid event with both on-ground and virtual models. Participants can choose the categories at their convenience.
The event will take place in the Delhi Cantonment area in one of the most beautiful venues and on the flattest and greenest route.

Virtual run will be conducted from 12th to 19th December 2021 and the participants can choose to run on any one day and finish their selected race category using a running app to record the run. Complete details will be e-mailed to all runners by the first week of Dec 21. T-shirts along with other goodies will be dispatched to runners by end-November/early Dec. Runners who register after 30 Nov 21 will get their t-shirts and other goodies post completion of the event. Finishers' medals will be sent to participants within 30 days after they complete their race virtually, submit and it has been verified.
While the participants will have an option to do multiple attempts on their running app, but they must finish their race on a single day and at a stretch.
You will get your bib number via email within two weeks after registering for the event. Dates for the bib expo for on-ground runners are available on the event website. In case you face any issues, you can reach out to us at info@smhmindiannavy.com.
- All participants must be fully vaccinated prior to the race day. Participants not vaccinated fully would be required to furnish an RT-PCR certificate prior to entering the Holding area. - Participants will be allowed inside the Holding area only 30 minutes prior to flag-off of their race category. - There will be a staggered flag-off and not more than 50 participants will be allowed to stand at the Start line at any point of time. - Holding area will be designed in such a way and would have the capacity so as to ensure that participants can assemble there while maintaining appropriate social distancing and COVID-19 protocols. - Multiple medals, hydration and refreshments counters will be set up with an appropriate gap between each other so as to avoid crowding of runners. - Runners will be requested to leave the venue immediately post a collection of medals, refreshments, and prizes etc. - No one will be allowed inside the venue without face masks. - Adequate quantity of hand sanitisers would be made available at various points at the venue and on the route.
